My office has been flooded with completed tests that have been filled out by sales enthusiasts all the way up to general managers of multi-million dollar stores. I am ecstatic about receiving such a tremendous response.
One of the hardest things to do in the world is to take an honest look at yourself. Not just your strengths, but your weaknesses as well. I have had the chance to meet and train hundreds of thousands of salespeople in my career and I think it takes an incredible desire to succeed that allows a person to expose themselves to their shortcomings.
We all know that the only way to get better and achieve at greater levels is to fix what’s currently holding us back. Sometimes it’s the wrong think, sometimes it’s a lack of closing skills, sometimes it’s a matter of a complete sales process overhaul.
You can’t possibly know what you need to get to the levels of greatness until you fully understand where you are.
