Here are some of our favorite books on starting a business. Often finding a mentor can be very difficult and time consuming. Of course, it’s always worth it and strongly recommend finding a mentor. But, often books can serve as mentors and guides as well. While you are starting your journey in business you might not be able to reach out to the best sales people in the industry, but you can read their books, learn their techniques, study their mindset and copy what has worked for them. Some of the best advice I have ever received was to “find the people who are already doing what you want to do, and study them and then study who they study.”
