This is a basic lesson in life: if you spend more than you earn and don't put aside money for savings, then you will fail. Look around you right now. How many things do you have that you know you shouldn't have spent money on? Yeah, you know there's quite a few to name right off the bat. Now, I'm not saying you shouldn't buy things you want, but putting wealthy creation ahead of that is a much higher priority. Here's what I suggest:
  1. Pay yourself and your family.
  2. Set money saving goals and put it aside – INVEST!
  3. Take care of your bills.
  4. Spend remaining money on what you want.
The best salespeople work towards creating wealth first, indulgences second.
