Read a Book a Week

Want to stay motivated every week, every month, 365 days of the year? I challenge you to read a book a week. One book a week, 52 books a year. Can you do it? Could you a “eat” a book?

You’re saying, “Grant I don’t like to read.” Good, then get the book on audio and listen to it. One book a week. The average American reads one book a year. A year! And most of those people that read the book don’t even finish it.

So if you want to separate yourself from other people. If you don’t want to play fair. If you want to reach your full potential. If success is your duty. If you want to stay motivated. Dude, read a book a week!

Read a book a week. Consume it. “Eat” it. You’re also saying, “Grant, you know I read a book once and it was a bad book.” Good! Go read another book. You’re going to have to read some bad books to get to the good ones. You’re looking for that one or two things, or maybe those three things out of one book where you’re like, “Oh my god, that was good. That filled my tank up. It kept me motivated till I get to the next book.”

Now you’re saying, “Grant, I don’t have time to read a book.” Yes you do. Make a commitment, over commit to it. “Eat” the book, consume it, and surround yourself with great people. You’ll be motivated.

I am telling you, how would you like to have a 52-to-1 advantage over everybody else that you compete with? Oh, I’d like that. Good! Read a book a week. 52-to-1 advantage.
