Don’t be a Discount Version of Yourself

Tim Storey brought gold to 10XGrowthCon 2

Introduction:

Tim Storey knows how to captivate a crowd. He’s friends with Oprah and was mentored by Quincy Jones, so he knows how to deliver a message that makes you think. Magic has rubbed off on him. Like he says, you can’t stand in the smoke if you’ve touched the fire.

What Tim Storey Can Teach You

Here’s what I learned from Tim Storey during 10XGrowthCon 2: The real you will always make a demand on the you that you’ve become.

There’s something inside you that’s never satisfied, that wants more. That’s because you were never called to be regular. You were called to be a world shaker and a history maker. It only takes one person to have the guts to do something great. Decide for that to be you.

Reach for the magic. Look for the miracle.

There are three levels of life:

  • Almost life

  • Most life

  • Utmost life

When you have pain or setbacks, haven’t you ever asked yourself if there’s more to life than what you’ve been living?

Have You Been Stuck?

Some of you are stuck in an almost life and you’ve become a discount version of yourself. Someone hurt you. It’s time to step into your real identity. You’ve been assigned. Your feeling of frustration comes because you haven’t stepped into the assignment that’s been given to you.

The difference between having an almost, most, and an utmost life is a decision.

You have to commit to being great-it’s a choice. Step into this place called magic. You were never built to be regular that’s why regular does not feel good to you.

There are two ways to discover magic:

  • Observation—study, watch, review—when you hear, see, and feel magic, it reminds you of the person you’re supposed to be.
  • Conversation—dialogue, chat, exchanging. When you converse with those that have magic, it rubs off on you.

What’s the true meaning for you? There are miracles that are happening all the time. You’re just caught up in your own distractions. Your life is about to shift into a magical place. Don’t’ be afraid of the BIG. That’s your assignment.

If you know you can do more then you have to do more. Most people know that they are not living to their true potential. They have felt magic before but miss it when it’s right in front of them. Maybe someone never told them that a magical life was possible. One word can shift your whole life. If someone tells you you’re brilliant and you’ve never heard that before, that can change everything.

Here are 4 Categories of Life Tim Storey told us about at 10XGrowthCon 2:

  1. Mundane—the routine, ordinary
  2. Messy—Chaotic, confused
  3. Madness—turmoil, craziness
  4. Magic—your assignment

If you see a family that all walks like ducks, they had to learn that from somewhere. It’s the Law of Reproduction—like produces like. The problem is you grew up around the mundane, messy, and madness.

You sprinkle yourself with magic every once in a while. Miracles are coming and going all the time but you’re so distracted that you’re missing YOUR miracle.

One reason is that it comes with time. You have to practice stuff you haven’t even manifested yet. Michael Jackson practiced the moonwalk since he was ten before he released it at 25. He was cooking in the kitchen.

My challenge to you today is to do what Tim Storey challenged all of us at 10XGrowthCon 2Reach up and pull your miracle life down.

Summary

Become a miracle attractor—believe, expect, and receive miracles. Don’t be a discount version of yourself. When you get knocked down, have the guts to get back up!

Be great,

GC
